4. How the syncing works

Dcirrus have two-way smart syncing. Once you download the application a Dcirrus sync folder is automatically created in your laptop/desktop (make sure you are using window 10, for windows 7 go to C:/users/username /MYSYNC folder) you have to go and do one-time exercise of creating the folder in your laptop). You just have to copy paste the data folders you want to sync in the cloud. In the same manner if you upload any data in the web using the Dcirrus Drive the same will be downloaded in your local laptop. You should now work in your syncing folder so that the data is automatically synced and you don't have to do the copy paste process manually.

5. What happens if my storage is full

Before you will reach the storage full level the system will start sending you messages and you can then increase your storage.

6. What happens if I don't pay the subscription

Your account will be suspended till you pay. Your data will be secured and protected unless and until you will let Dcirrus support team know your decision of continuing or moving out.

7.Can I delete my Data

Yes, you can delete your data anytime from the cloud.

8. Can I put restrictions on file folders and delete the users created by me

Yes, you can create and delete users as per your requirements and put restrictions as allowed by the system using the icon "user permission" in each folder. Users can be created, deleted and modified using "admin" module of the application.

9. What happens if I accidentally delete my files

No worries. The data won't delete in the first deletion. The file colour changes to red to notify the user. If you still want to go ahead and delete you have to delete the same files again and then it will be deleted from the system.

10. What to do if my laptop or phone is stolen, crashed or lost

No worries. You just have to send an email at support@dcirrus.com and our team will disable your corporate id or the particular device which has been lost. Once you buy a new device you just have to login with your credentials and you are good to go again. The syncing feature in the application will automatically download all your data in the same folder structure as it was in the lost device.

11. What is the type, maximum number and size of file I can upload in the cloud

You can store almost any file format in Dcirrus. To protect the system from any misuse the number of files restriction is limited to 20 nos. and size restriction is limited to single file of 20MB. You can have upload multiple files of 20 MB. But you can use the syncing feature to upload any number or size of files.

12. Do I need internet to use Dcirrus

Yes, Dcirrus is a cloud based application and basic internet is required.

13. Can I block the user device working under me so that he can't access the data in the cloud

Yes, you can block the particular device of user under you be it laptop or mobile. You have to go to "admin" module (user list) from dashboard to block the device.
