Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
DCirrus Cloud Computing Service Pvt. Ltd. ("DCirrus", "we", "us", or "our") operates DCirrus (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our Platform.
How This Policy Applies to Customer Data
DCirrus is a business-to-business platform. Documents and data room content that a customer uploads to the Platform as part of a paid engagement (for example, in a Virtual Data Room, RP Mitra, Do Vote, Section 29A IBC Report, or Insolvency Process Management workflow) remain that customer's confidential information, and are handled as described in the confidentiality and data-handling terms of that customer's signed agreement with DCirrus.
This Privacy Policy addresses the personal information of website visitors, prospective customers, and individuals who use the Platform (account holders, data room participants, voters, and similar users) - such as names, email addresses and usage data - rather than the substantive business or deal content stored within a data room.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, use the Platform, or communicate with us. This includes:
- Account information: name, email address, company name and password when you register.
- Data room and platform content: documents, files and related metadata you upload to or share through the Platform, subject to the confidentiality terms described above.
- Usage data: information about how you interact with the Platform, including features used, documents accessed and login activity.
- Billing and contract information: company and billing details we collect to invoice and administer your service agreement.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs and access timestamps.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the Platform and its features.
- Process transactions and send related information, including purchase confirmations and invoices.
- Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts and support messages.
- Respond to your comments, questions and customer service requests.
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience.

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. To fulfil our obligation of providing continuous services to our users, we use reputed third-party vendors for hosting, infrastructure, billing, and analytics. Beyond these service relationships, we may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent: when you have given us explicit permission to share your information.
Data Security
We implement administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including access controls, encryption in transit and activity logging. We may engage reputable third-party infrastructure and service providers (sub-processors) to help operate the Platform; those providers are only permitted to process data as needed to deliver the Platform and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
- Request portability of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@dcirrus.com.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activity. These include essential cookies required for the Platform to function and analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. Analytics cookies are only set if you opt in - you can change your choice at any time.
Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where applicable. Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.
